Celina Baseball Fights Hard Against the Aubrey Chaparrals but Comes Up Short

We Are Celina!

CELINA Magazine is the only publication that distributes 10,000+ copies to households and businesses in Celina and surrounding areas. CELINA Magazine caters to its educated, family oriented, high net worth readers who have a passion for living well. Each issue focuses on Health, Education, Lifestyle, Community Events and businesses, making it the premiere publication in the Celina area.

The Celina Bobcats baseball team took on the Aubrey Chaparrals at home on Monday night, March 26. Although they fought hard, it did not turn out the way they wanted or had hoped for. Celina’s defense worked hard, but the Chaparrals had a trick of hitting low balls and managed to continually escape the outfielders. It wasn’t until the 5th inning that Celina was able to post a point to the scoreboard, and at the end of the game, Aubrey prevailed with a final score of 12-1.

It was a tough loss for the Bobcats, but with each game, they are learning and improving. Monday’s game allowed them to understand what mistakes they needed to improve upon and which techniques they need to perfect for the their next game. Celina will take on the Bonham Warriors at home on Friday, March 30th. Join us in cheering on the Bobcats to victory!!
