Developers at Light Farms, the fast-growing 1,070-acre community located along the Prosper and Celina border in North Texas, unveiled expansion plans with a new neighborhood named Brenham. Located on the East side of the community near Light Farms Elementary School, Brenham will feature local builder, Shaddock Homes and national builder, M/I Homes.

Light Farms is developed by Republic Property Group and ranks as one of the best-selling master planned communities in the nation. The neighborhood curates a familial and friendly lifestyle for residents with more than 200 community events each year. M/I Homes joins Light Farms’ extensive list of homebuilders already including Shaddock Homes as well as American Legend Homes, Britton Homes, Drees Custom Homes, Highland Homes, Huntington Homes, K. Hovanian Homes, MainVue Homes, Newport Homebuilders, and Taylor Morrison Homes.

“We pride ourselves on curating a list of builders that promise high-quality homes and experiences for homebuyers interested in the Celina and Prosper area. M/I Homes and Shaddock Homes are no exception,” said Jake Wagner, Co-CEO at Republic Property Group. “Adding these trusted builders to our homebuilder lineup will bring new products to Light Farms that will appeal to variety of homeowner tastes for years to come.”

M/I Homes is a respected builder with over 40 years of experience. The national builder has created more than 100,000 homes across the country, including the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. Known for its purposeful design and quality of materials, M/I Homes’ products at Light Farms will include floorplans ranging from 1,569-2,823 square feet with prices starting in the upper $200s.

Building alongside M/I Homes in Brenham is Shaddock Homes. Recognized for their careful attention to detail and craftsmanship, Shaddock Homes specializes in building luxury homes featuring open floor plans and unique designs for buyers. In the Brenham neighborhood, Shaddock homes will include 70 x 130-foot lots sizes with prices starting in the $400s.

Recognized as one of the best neighborhoods in North Texas for new homebuyers, Light Farms features two onsite elementary schools in the highly acclaimed Prosper ISD. Light Farms provides residents one-of-a-kind amenities, such as the newly opened restaurant and market, The Farm Stand, where residents can find chef-prepared meals, a full bar, and wide array of locally sourced grocery items. The community’s Constellation Park is complete with camping grounds, a dog park, and a sand beach surrounding the 11-acre community lake, as well as five community pools, 240+ acres of parks and green space, and miles of hiking and walking trails. Residents of all ages enjoy the hundreds of community events organized in the neighborhood each year. At full build out, the community will feature more than 3,000 homes.
